Meet Katie
For over two decades, Katie has fostered strong relationships with clients spanning the Hamptons, NYC, and beyond. Her journey led her to The Agency in the Hamptons, where she represents industry luminaries such as Mauricio Umansky, Dana Trotter, and Tyler Whitman, star of Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing. Joining The Agency in Bridgehampton in the summer of 2023, Katie contributes to one of the world's fastest-growing boutique brokerage brands, recognized as the Top Luxury Brokerage by Inman.
With a diverse portfolio encompassing high-end residential sales, rentals, investments, and land opportunities, Katie has adeptly negotiated numerous property contracts, tirelessly advocating for buyers and sellers alike.
Before immersing herself in real estate, Katie earned a BA in communication from St. Mary's of Notre Dame. In her leisure time, she channels her creativity into her fashion line, House of Haggerty. When not showcasing properties, Katie finds solace in the serene waters of the Montauk Yacht Club or jogging along the picturesque cliffs of Montauk.
In October 2023, Katie faced a new challenge when diagnosed with the genetic cancer mutation CDH1, leading to a battle with gastric stomach cancer and a full stomach removal. Undeterred, she launched a research fund for gastric stomach cancer under the banner of KT STRONG, with Dr. Vivian Strong leading the charge.
Guided by her unwavering zest for life, family, friends, real estate, research, and philanthropy, Katie's dreams find fulfillment. Supported by her husband and three remarkable children – Sean, Patty, and Kathryn – all graduates of prestigious universities, the Haggerty family stands united in championing Katie's KT STRONG mission. And amidst their bustling household, the love of their two golden retrievers, Coors and Guinness, adds warmth and joy to their lives.
